NSW: Man to face court over series of assults on young females

SYDNEY, April 27 AAP - A man is due to appear in a Sydney court today over a seriesof assaults on young females in Sydney's west over the last two months.

Police said a 23-year-old Cambridge Gardens man would face charges relating to a seriesof assaults between March 3 and April 26 on females aged between 12 and 23.

He was arrested and questioned yesterday afternoon and charged by Penrith Detectiveswith three counts of aggravated indecent assault, three counts of indecent assault andfive counts of committing an act of indecency.

He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
